Abstract:
A recent report concerning prenatal screening is alarming. An unacceptable rate of false positives has lead many anxious parents to abort what likely would have been a perfectly healthy child. The market for non-invasive prenatal DNA screens (known as NIPT or NIPS) has eploded in recent years. Many state are currently taking action to prevent discrimination by abortion. North Carolina already has a law prohibiting sex-selection abortions.

"The North Carolina Gneral Assembly is currently considering a bill entitled 'NC Compassionate Care Act'" which would legalize marijuana for 'medical' use in certain situations, including cancer, PTSD, AIDS, and more. But the term 'medical marijauna' is intentionally misleading." Currently, "Epidiolex" is the first and only FDA-approved drug developed directly from the marijuana plant.
