Abstract:
Paul Smith, a Gulf War veteran, opened the Frontline Defense & Firearms Training Center in Warren County, NC in 2013. It is a public shooting facility, available to members seven days per week and non-members on the weekends. It is also the only one of two shooting ranges in North Carolina that has a distance of 1,000 yards, which is more than a half mile. In addition to the Long Range Rifle and Conceal Carry classes, Smith also teaches Basic Handgun and Precision Rifle and Competitive Long Range Shooting. Smith says that about 20 percent of his students are women.
