Abstract:
Recently, much attention has been focused on the quality of American public education, particularly the performance of teachers. It is becoming apparent that what is needed is a comprehensive approach designed to produced high-quality professional staffing for public schools. For the past two years, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School system has been developing such an approach.
