"The year-old Hidden Brook Sporting attracts sporting clay fans to Wilkes County." In 2024, the club purchased 285 acres of land within 4 miles of North Wilkesboro's downtown district. from May through December of last year, Hidden Brook welcomed 1,000 visitors from 24 different states. Sporting clays is played using a shotgun to his artificial colored pigeons.
