                                Camp Mackall, located near Hoffman in Richmond County, is a thirty-thousand acre military reservation where the Airborne Command, the Army's newest fighting unit, will train. The camp is named for Pvt. John T. Mackall, the first American paratrooper to lose his life in the North African campaign.
