Abstract:
An examination of the dispute between Georgia and North Carolina over lands that fell within the boundary of Georgia, and the subsequent appeals to Congress by Georgia to establish a decided border at the 35 degree North latitude. Congressional records as well as state records from Georgia and North Carolina serve as source material.
