Abstract:

Guy Owens is the author of The Ballad of the Flim-Flam Man, a quirky novel based in North Carolina in the genre of Huck Finn. Owen's book is being produced into a movie by 20th Century Fox and in 1966 production began in Kentucky. The book wasn't printed until 1965, but it has captured attention in New York City and now the movie will tell the tale.
