Yordanys Bastardo and his family moved from the Dominican Republic in 1999 and made Greenville their home in 2008. The family operates a food truck restaurant call Villa Verde, which serves the Greenville community traditional Caribbean food.

Food trucks are growing in popularity and success in Greenville. Villa Verde, Anita’s Tacos, Shep’s Farm to Truck have all found success over the past couple of years. The culture of food trucks, the growing trend, and the personal stories of each food truck and its owner are shared.
