Abstract:

Since 1920, the Tyson-May families have been gathering together as probably the oldest or one of the oldest continuous family reunions held in Pitt County. Reunion founder, Grigg T. Tyson was a farmer who was interested in local history and genealogy. The Tyson-May Reunion has always had distinguished speakers and good food.
