"Developing a thriving N.C. cannabis industry follows a crooked path." Up until it was outlawed in 1940, North Carolina produced enough hemp to export small amounts. In 2017, the state's Industrial Hemp Pilot Program brought back production. Policing continues to be a major issue.. For now, recreational marijuana remain illegal.

Tripp Liles, salestraining director attributes the phenomenal growth of the firm in that "people are pushing back against anxiety and sleep medications that have been widely prescribed in favor of cannabis, which offers them a more natural, healthy alternative."
