William C. Burkhardt is president and CEO of Bahlsen, Inc., a maker of snack foods. The company is the American affiliate of H. Bahlsens Keksfabrik HG of Hanover, West Germany, a 100-year-old family baking business. The Cary facility, the company's only American baking operation, bakes and ships snacks to all fifty states, Canada, and the Caribbean islands. Burkhardt is profiled in NORTH CAROLINA magazine's “executive profile.”
