Abstract:
Raleigh Native, Ernie Pit, has become widely recognized throughout central North Carolina. Pitt has gained his admiration through the Winston-Salem Chronicle, a weekly newspaper highlighting the African-American community. The success and influence of the Chronicle have given Ernie a place in the North Carolina Media and Journalism Hall of Fame.
