The son of a Methodist minister, Pastor Nathan Wittman is currently minister of St. James UMC in Tarboro. His wife, Laura Wittman is also the child of a Methodist minister and is currently in charge of The Mills Church in rocky Mount. The couple discusses recent challenges posed by COVID-19 pandemic and future direction for church in general.

Abstract:
The line of preachers began with Marvin Earl Tyson, who started preaching at age 26. Then his six sons took up the work, as did some of their children. For those who grew up in Eastern North Carolina over the past seventy years and were a Methodist, the chances are good that a Tyson shared the gospel with, wed, or buried them.

Abstract:
The good old days and nowadays had something in common in the life of Lizzie Austin: her dedication to her walk with Jesus Christ. Attesting to this is her decades of service in Sunday School classroom. Reflected is her character in word and action. As for who could testify to the role model her life provided, three generations could attest to it as well as the interviewers.
