Abstract:
North Carolina has four national cemeteries, but the Salisbury National Cemetery in Rowan County is the only one that still accepts new interments. The Rowan County Honor Guard, a group of former veterans, serves at each veteran's funeral, and by the end of 2013, they will have served at approximately 330 funerals. Crossman explains the duties they perform.
