Abstract:
"Duke University drives to become a bigger healthcare force in North Carolina." Noted in this endeavor is Duke's December 2024announcement to invest $250 million to buy Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. In January 2025, it declared a partnership with UNC Health to build a proposed $2 billion children's hospital in the Triangle. Another partnership in March was announced with Novant Health.
