Abstract:
The Christmas candy drop over Manteo: re-enactment of the Christmastime Candy Bomber over war-scarred Berlin in the late 1940s. Gail Halvorsen and Karin Edmond, participant and recipient during the former event, have the same motivation: sharing the spirit of giving and peace during the season known for these qualities.
