Hardware managed to survive Walmart's lengthy presence in their community Retail experts explain the closings as a strategy of Walmart now being less interested in dominating brick-and-mortar sites and more concentrated on e-commerce.

With a fleet of more than 60 jets, it’s the eighth-largest of nearly 2,000 private jet-charter companies in the nation, and biggest in North Carolina. Owner, Jim Segrave is the great-nephew of the late Felix Harvey, an eastern North Carolina business titan and instigating force behind the Global TransPark. During the Pandemic, the business was aided by a couple of million dollars in Paycheck Protection Program support to help preserve jobs.

Despite civil unrest and a worldwide pandemic, memorabilia collectors still expressed much passion during The Eddie Vannoy Collection auction. In Ashe County, NC more than 300 auctioneers joined together to bid on some of Vannoy’s nostalgic pieces. The collection ranged from items like antique gas pumps priced at $60,000 to the rare 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona supercar priced at $231,000.
