On Aug. 10, 1829, James Congleton died and left a Will. He left property to his wife Sally (d. May 4, 1846); left property to his son, Abram Congleton (d. May 5, 1840). The heirs of Abram Congleton were his sisters and brother : Bethuly Gurganus, Lezina Gurganus (wife of Simon Gurganus) , Nancy (wife of Benjamin Gurganus), and James R. Congleton. James R. Congleton, Lezina Gurganus and Nancy Gurganus, and children of Bethuly Gurganus, all live in Tennessee.
