John Wilson, b. in 1756 in Craven County, NC (later Pitt County); moved to Wayne Co., NC one year after the Revolution and stayed there seven years; then moved to Sampson County, NC and lived there three years; and then moved to Cumberland Co., NC. He was a resident of Cumberland Co., NC in 1832.
