Abstract:
The pinnacle of aviation history in North Carolina and the world is located at the Wright Brothers National Memorial in Kill Devil Hills. In addition, many other aviation-related historical attractions and museums can be found throughout the state. This article provides descriptions of ten destinations for aviation enthusiasts.

Abstract:
One approach to putting people back to work during the Great Depression was commissioning artists to paint murals on federal buildings. Artists were chosen not on need but through anonymous competitions. The program ran from 1934 to 1943. During that time over 1,300 murals and 300 sculptures were commissioned nationwide. The article contains a list of post offices in the state where murals can still be viewed and buildings that were destroyed along with the murals.

Abstract:
In Western North Carolina, Jennifer Perkins, who owns Looking Glass Creamery with her husband, Andy, joined forces with other cheese producers, to create a new guide that helps visitors find people who make, serve, and sell local cheeses. Most of the stops are in Asheville and surrounding area. Three creamery stops on the tour have regular business hours and five are available to visit by appointment.
