Abstract:
A new system of merchandising is here. Although a long way from the time of the peddler and his pack, it adopts the same principles. With the advent of modern highways in North Carolina, Meyer's Department Store in Greensboro decided to experiment with a traveling store. With a second hand car and trailer, the Meyer's Shop on Wheels has been a success, especially around Christmas time.

Abstract:
Although 17 of North Carolina's 100 counties now provide beds for tuberculosis patients in county sanatoria and county homes, the problem of providing adequate care for the thousands of tuberculosis sufferers who cannot be accommodated at state-supported institutions, and who are unable because of expense, to enter the private sanatoria in the state.
