Dear Sirs

The following is an action of the Board of Trustees of
East Caroline Teachers College, as of June 3, 1948:

"The Board of Trustees hereby approves the establishment
of a Reserve Officers Training Corps wit at East
Carolina Teachers College and the President is hereby
authorized to appeint a military vrorerty custodian

-and to assign duties to employees of the College to
carry out the purposes of the Reserve Officers Training
Corp unit. The President is further authorized to give
any necessary bond to the United States Government
making the college responsible for equipment which may
be assigned to the College."

As president of the Follege I have appointed F. D. Dunean,
business manager and treasurer of the College, as militeary
property custodian. |

I am enclosing a copy of the charter of the college, and
requisitions for equipment and supplies as authorized by
current regulations,
