Thank you for your comments regarding our fundraising approach. I am

sorry that you do not like the manner in which we ask for support. I
can assure you that we do not mean to offend any of our members.

Because our membership covers such a broad spectrum of people, we must
phrase our appeal in a way that will be the most appropriate for the
largest number. We hope that the recipient of these solicitations
will look beyond the actual copy and understand the message that we
are trying to convey. Each year brings many new challenges, and we
are making our best attempt to raise the maximum amount for our
efforts.

Your support helped us achieve great victories in last November's

election. And we hope that we may count on your continued support
this year to assist the Bush Administration and ensure the

continuation of our Republican goals for peace and prosperity.
