Through the years visitors keep coming back to witness the comedy of Whitey Hawkins, the spectacular Civil War scenes, the dance and music heritage of West Virginia and the val- iant efforts of the Morgan family to survive the struggle that engulfs them. HATFIELDS & te — Some say it started with a dispute over the ownership of a hog; others say the ill-fated love of Roseanne McCoy and Johnse Hatfield caused it. Whatever the reason, there was bad blood between the Hatfields of West Vir- ginia and the McCoys of Kentucky. Starting in the 1860’s the Hatfields and McCoys fought a deadly game of revenge with each side seeking retribu- tion for wrongdoings committed by the other. Their stub- bornness led to almost forty years of suffering. Each summer the story of HATFIELDS AND McCOYS lives on. This story of real mountain people, their love, pain and pride is retold to tens of thousands as they relive the famous feud at Grandview State Park. Come see this true story of family strife as it was pre- sented by ABC and NBC news during the summer of 1982. COUNT DRACULA COUNT DRACULA, the play.
