Francis Eugene Somers Oral History Interview, March 10, 1989, May 12, 1988, April 28, 2001.
0.015 Cubic feet, 3 audiotape, 3 hours. This OH currently has a transcription of the first interview online. We have a print copy of the second interview, but do not have one for the third interview.
In addition, there is a letter from "George" to "Fred" dated 1-6-89 included. It has a short note attached to Don Lennon, past head of Manuscripts and Rare Books, from Capt. Eugene Somers, telling Lennon that this should prove that the Germans sunk the destroyer BUCK.

eventually, the granddaughter of Capt. Somers would like a thumbdrive of all audio to give to her Mother. Of, she may be able to accept a downloadable link if that is easier. If questions, let me know. Thanks
