A patron who is the co-director of Longleaf Film Festival, a free-to-attend film festival that is a program of the North Carolina Museum of History, would like to download the 1921 silent Lost Colony film from our DVD to use in a program about N.C. silent films.
1921 silent film about the Lost Colony produced in Manteo, N.C., by Atlas Educational Film Co., as part of a series of films covering the earliest English Expeditions (1584-1591) in the U.S. Original film was apparently copied in the 1950s (?) onto 16 mm reel to reel tape. The film was digitized by Dr. Larry Tise in recent years onto a DVD. Our 2 DVD copies are a part of the Institute of Outdoor Theatre Archives.
I am enclosing both DVD copies I have just in case one is better quality than the other.
