Tape indicated is it tape 1 of 2. We cannot locate tap #2, Martha is going to double check the donor records as Dembo believes there was a Master and Access copy, not a complete interview spread across two tapes. Patron has agreed to wait for digitized copy rather than attempting to use a cassette tape player and will use his time to examine the manuscript collections.

U.S. Navy Commander Robert L. Ghormley, Jr., discusses the life and career of his father, Vice Admiral Robert Lee Ghormley (1883-1958), as well as his own childhood, family life, education at the U.S. Naval Academy, and career in the U.S. Navy. Vice Admiral Ghormley was a member of the United States Naval Academy Class of 1906 and his son was a member of the Class of 1948.
