They need the videos in a current format to be able to broadcast in the lecture room at Eller House.
Description
The ECU Program in Maritime Studies is interested in having Hi-8, Video-8, and VHS tapes digitized. The videos include ECU field school dives to various shipwrecks, lectures, and more. This research could be valuable for long term use via the University Archives and/or the ECU Libraries Digital Collections. The impetus for this request is the Director of Maritime Studies is interested in the digitization of these so he may provide weekly viewings from the content in the tapes to students in the program.
