The patron only needs it for research. We would also like to get a user copy made so that we can retire the original from everyday use. We normally put the user copy on archival paper, but we can do that up here if it is too much trouble to print a version down there on archival paper.

Scan of Civil War-era diary from Thomas Sparrow Papers #1. It is a small diary, maybe 2"x3" or so, and approximately 30 pages (just guessing).
