Even though we do not condiser scanned images technically archival, the idea was to document the images now before they continue to fade further. We really did not think we could justify the time it would take to make photographic negatives for each image. So, we thought this may be a good alternative. I thought perhaps we could also print off the scanned images for researchers to use as surrogates. Feel free to comment with any ideas. Thanks
