The following resolutions, which become effective immediately upon receipt
of this notification, were passed by the Executive Committee of the Medical
and Dental Staff of St. Anthony's Hospital at its March, 1967 meeting:
"IT. Written consultation by a surgeon qualified to carry out -
definitive treatment shall be required on all breast tumors
prior to biopsy unless the attending physician is so qualified
himself."
"II. When any radical or major operative procedure for any type of
tumor needs to be done based on outside pathological findings,
reports and slides (if possible) should be made available to
the hospital pathologist prior to the surgery."
