As I hear, it was of consequence, If we agree on the<lb />contract, I should start there on or about June 1.<lb /><lb />Enclosed is an "expectoration" on Billroth. One reason<lb />to write was the circumstance surrounding the first gastrectomies,<lb />also the "publicity" and "premature" reporting. The endeavor<lb />and problems were not too different, than with cardiae and liver<lb />transplantation today, and interestingly the results not too much<lb />better.<lb /><lb />I am using the helix disposable bag with a heat exchanger,<lb />and it proved, in my hands, quite satisfactory. With the forth-<lb />coming move, I could make a �hange.
