Dear Aldo
I reamed out the outflow tract of the patient I talked to
you about and excised an abortive leaflett from the p. valve.
The patient did quite well postoperatively + the saturation
was 88% at time of discharge. Obviously still shunting but
elinically looks good and pink. I could push a Hegar dilator
12mm, but an outflow patch may have helped. While resecting
the infundibulum at the septum I made a communication with
the aortic sinus and had to close it.
This week I have an aortic and mitral valve and a septum
primum. I hope things are going to develop for Minnesota
again, I thank you for your suggestions and good luck in the
New Year.
