I will be waiting for your nephew's i::uiries, If he
should visit this area, please have him come and see us.
I had a lot of fun organizing our cardiac team ( one chest
and one general surgeon) and things are moving even though
I do only 2-3 open heart cases every month. I have a fine
pediatric and adult cardiologist's support and the medical
community is reasonably sophisticated.
I have enough work with the heart program, the pulmonary
and peripheral vascular work, coronary angio's (Soans
technique) which I love to do myself and left heart cath's.
(Ventricular punctures).
The experimental lab. was built, now I am in the process
of furnishing it. In other words there is enough challenge
and I thank God for letting me work. Of course I do feel
nostalgic for formal teaching, and for not being on "the
medical frontiers of scientific persuit". Alas, this I
was denied by circumstances, I do not begrudge my fate and
I am happy to be of some good, and do the best I can.
Mary and the kids like it over here we have a good size house
for everyone including guests and that is all you Berry's.
As you once said it does not feel bad to be forced into a
higher Income Tax bracket, even though I feel a bit em-
barrassed by it all and somehow wax not meant for it and
wish there would have been another choice, My historical
library is getting bigger (original Paracelsus, Skoda I
