The most interesting case Iwas able to get on spot films shows rather well the communicationswhich develop with the patients coronary vessels. I shallforward you a copy as soon as the photogravher gets done with it,I am interested in the angiographic anatomy of the cardiac veinsand the coronary sinus. Did anyone do any work on this? In thefilm there are two good strips of this, I also have now a patientwith 2 internal mammary inplants in whom I excised an anteriormyocardial infarction and who is doing very well. Could you letme know or one of your fellows what the problem is with veininplants and the results? I would appreciate the movie back whenyou are done with it. I am preparing a paper on the internalmammary inplants, I wonder if I could send it to you for corrections.Do you know about a reference coneerning inplants with a excisionof an infarction?I am still hopeful to get back into a situation where I couldcombine clinical surcery with teaching and research, You knowthat the reagons I left Minnesota just as you are doing nowwas due to the sad state of affairs that were developing, howevermuch I wanted to continue working on the many unfinished problemsat intrigued me. You know that I am fairly multifacceted eventhough now I am doing a bit of cardiovascular - thoracic work,I am pretty successful at it, I have a number of good valves goingand the income is pretty good over her but I lack the rest -serious research and teaching.I know how much of the credit of my clinical success goes to you.Please do let me know if you should hear about anything.
