I received your reprint from the issue of Surgery on our
Doctor Wangensteen and I will treasure the surgical issue
as well as your own autographed reprint.
I indeed enjoyed seeing you in Chicago and if you are in San
Francisco with the American Heart, please look me up at the
Hilton. 1 am giving a small but insignificant paper there on
delineating the blood flow and actually quantitating the blood
flow to the myocardial infarct by use of Rb86 and a vital
dye.
I am still a bit chagrined at my former very poverty-stricken
friend now being so affluent, but such is the march of time
and I can think of no one who has so successfully taken to the
"fleshpots" as you have.

PS: Just yesterday I had my finals for the Ph.D. and have only
