He also said that you might be inter-<lb />ested in acquiring equipment for such composition.<lb /><lb />We are presently engaged in the development and manufacture<lb />of a system of simple modular electronic instruments designed<lb />expressly for electronic music composition. I am enclosing a<lb />preprint of a paper which I presented before a recent Audio<lb />Engineering Society Convention. Also included is some prelimi-<lb />nary information on the modular instruments which we are now manu-<lb />facturing.<lb /><lb />I have been designing and manufacturing electronic instruments<lb />for the production of music for the past ten years. In addition,<lb />I have visited several electronic music studios and have discussed<lb />instrumentation for electronic music composition with many well-<lb />known workers in the field. The equipment which we are now manu-<lb />facturing has been used extensively (and successfully) by at least<lb />one composer.<lb /><lb />I would be most interested in showing you our equipment, and<lb />discussing your requirements with you. If you are actively engaged<lb />in equipping an electronic music composition facility, you may be<lb />interested in arranging for us to pay you a visit.<lb /><lb />May I hear from you at your convenience?<lb /><lb />Very truly yours,<lb />R.A.
