Others are at Duke University, North Carolina College,<lb />and University of North Carolina campuses at Chapel Hill and<lb />Greensboro,<lb /><lb />At East Carolina the installation of six faculty members and<lb />22 students is scheduled in Room 129 of the Education-Psychology<lb />Building at 7 p.m.<lb /><lb />Dr. William F. Grossnickle and Dr. Charles C, Mitchell, members<lb />of the psychology faculty and advisers of the local Psi Chi chapter,<lb />will conduct the installation,<lb /><lb />Special guest speaker at the installation will be Dr. Leo<lb />Jenkins, president of the college.<lb /><lb />Faculty members in addition to Drs. Grossnickle and Mitchell<lb />who are already members of Psi Chi are Dr. Thomas E, Long and<lb />Dr. Donald W. Va., president: Robert Daniel Cowley of Hampton, Va.,<lb />vice president; and Martha Stephens Montgomery of Durham, secretary-<lb />treasurer.<lb /><lb />An affiliate of the American Psychological Association and the<lb />Association of American Honor Societies, Psi Chi has 200 chapters<lb />across the nation,<lb /><lb />Among the purposes of Psi Chi are the recognition of scholastic<lb />achievement and the advancement of interest in psychology.
