A fierce north wind<lb />fanned the flames into a fury and<lb />swept them across the docks to<lb />pier 6, which was soon burning<lb />fariously.<lb /><lb />Tho British steamship Clintonia<lb />which was 'oading with ail, tobac<lb />co and general merchandise at<lb />pier 5 was soon ablaze.
