L. Carr,<lb />the popular young dentist. It occur-<lb />red in the afternoon. A young lady<lb />~phoned to the dentist and told him<lb />another lady was suffering with a<lb />dreadful toothache and wanted him to<lb />call at once and get that tooth out.<lb />~He put off in haste for the house of the<lb />~supposed patient, was met by the lady<lb />ut the door, and when he mentioned<lb />toothache they both stared vacantly at<lb />each other. Suddenly it dawned upon<lb />both thax the young laay had sent him<lb />on a fool errand, and the last .seen of<lb />the doctor he was on a hunt to even up<lb />with her,<lb /><lb />In another instance a young lady,<lb />dressed up and tork a seat on née<lb />tront porch to wait for a young man to<lb />come and take her out fora drive.
