With<lb />probably from 8 to 125 per cent more<lb />tobacco than last year now in the hands<lb />ot farmers tributary to this market, it is<lb />not an overestimate to say that the mar-<lb />ket will sell this year between 6,000,-<lb />000 and 6,500,000 pounds. J<lb /><lb />was<lb /><lb />Intormation reached<lb />that the dwelling house of Mr.<lb />Laughinghouse, near Grimesland,<lb />destroyed by tire early Wednesday<lb />night. The fire occurred about 7<lb />oTclock, the building catching on the<lb />rcot by sparks from the chimney.<lb />When discovered ths flames had made<lb />such headway that they could not be<lb />checxed. ~Tne light from tae fire was<lb />seen here.<lb />The building and most of the furni-<lb />ture were destroyed.
