Little, one<lb />of our nominees for the Legislature,<lb />who spoke for nearly three"quarters of<lb />an hour. He dwelt at some length<lb />upcn the misdoings of the last fusion<lb />Legislature, gave statisvics showing<lb />that body and the previous Democratic<lb />, Legislature, and argued well that it is<lb />to the Lest interest of the peuple that<lb />the next Legislature should be Demo-<lb />crat~c. |<lb /><lb />C. L. Barrett also a candidate for<lb />tthe Legislature, tolloved in an excel-<lb />lent speech. The reterence he made<lb />to Bryan and Vance were greeted with<lb />ontbursts of applause.
