Jarvis in the city to-day<lb />and to have a pleasant talk with him<lb />concerning the situation in North Car-<lb />olina. Gov. Jarvis has the true inter-<lb />est of the State at heart, and if all<lb />Democrats would take the view of the<lb />present situation that he does, depreca-<lb />ting discord and lack of confidence in<lb />each other, and realizing the necessity<lb />of unity and harmony and tolerance,<lb />the party would ke in much better con-<lb />dition. It is a fact, as Gov. Jarvie re-<lb />marked to us to-day, that there is too<lb />much bickering amongT Democrats and<lb />too much disposition to suspect each<lb />other of selling out when any plan of<lb />combination or campaign is advanced |<lb />from any Democratic source. Gov.<lb />Jarvis stands for Democratic accord<lb />and unanimity. Speaking of the possi-<lb />bility of two State conyentions being<lb />held, he says that wisdom would sug-<lb />gest that the representatives of the par-<lb />ty when they. meet here, consult togeth-<lb />er and decide ~what is best, and that<lb /><lb />~when they have decided let the decision<lb /><lb />have the unanimous support of the en-<lb />tire party.--Raleigh Pregs-Visitor.._,<lb /><lb />: "Falk about climbing. poles, ~bat one 7<lb />of the linemen here at work ~on ~the<lb /><lb />telephone exchange ~cafi ran right ~up<lb /><lb />iFi-: tae<lb /><lb />|Lang Sells Cheap.<lb /><lb /><lb /><lb />no themarket with 2Collarsand Ail<lb /><lb />-===70 CENTS.<lb /><lb />Pi ada atl ais<lb /><lb />i nit linda<lb /><lb />PAADAAAAAIAAAAN A<lb /><lb />""Rememoper I still lead in-"" oo<lb /><lb />FINECLOT<lb /><lb />and can suit you insprice, style and<lb /><lb />PIPL Gates e el Mele Me!<lb /><lb />quality.<lb /><lb />PN ale tT<lb /><lb />;<lb />;<lb />__.\f<lb /><lb />A nobby line of the latest styles of<lb /><lb />SILK HATS "<lb />to selict Hiokk Call and see<lb /><lb />FRANK WILSO<lb /><lb />THE KING CLOTHIER.<lb /><lb />N<lb /><lb />Just received another shipment of Summer<lb />Novelties consisting of all kinds of Summer<lb />Dress Fabrics.
