Harrington, for<lb />Sheriff, and J- A. Thigpen, for<lb />Treasurer, which the Board re-<lb />jected the firss Monday in Decem-<lb />ber. The  ~Commissioners were<lb /><lb />-|perfectly willing to do this -and<lb /><lb />pied attorney assented to the or-<lb />er.<lb /><lb />Between Two Fires.<lb /><lb />In the complaint in the manda-<lb />mus proceedings against the<lb />Board of County Commissioners,<lb />one of the reasons assigned by<lb />the plaintiffs for wanting a re-ex-<lb />amination given  ~the bonds was<lb /><lb />that some of the obligators had<lb /><lb />property that did not appear on<lb />the tax-list.
