J. H-Lamberth delivered<lb />his part?'ng sermon at the Baptist<lb />ehureh Sunday night. It consist-<lb />ed of a brief history of bis own<lb />experience which was told ina<lb />manner both interesting and<lb />touchine. We wish every young<lb />man in the community could have<lb />heard him. It was indecd an in-<lb />spiration to a higher, better and<lb />more noble life. In his closing<lb />remarks he referred to the happi-<lb />ness his stay in Greenville had<lb />afforded him, bis pleasant rela-<lb />tions with the ministers of other<lb />denominations, and the congenial<lb />manner in which he had been<lb />treated ~by all our people. Mr<lb />Lamberth is truly a consecrated<lb />ehristian gentleman,<lb />man of God, an able, eloquent<lb />preacher,.and it is with reluctance<lb />and sorrow that the church and<lb />community part with him.
