and seven days a week, along with live radio interviews, saving the Air Force thousands of
dollars in.ad budget.

In June 1996, MSgt Jackson transferred to Richmond, VA still with the 317¢* Recruiting Squadron
out of Andrews AFB, MD where he was assigned to the Military Entrance Processing Station.
In this position, he job counseled and qualified over 300 young men and women in the Air
Force. Challenged with getting applicants qualified through the Surgeon Generals office
(SG), MSgt devised a plan to get physicals, track and send them to the SG office for their
review. This process allowed for a response time of 50% faster than the past,
In August 1999, MSgt Jackson was transferred to the 337" RCS Officer Accessions team. He
was given the difficult responsibility of recruiting physicians for the purpose of filling vacancies
within the Air Force healthcare system. Within his first 30 days on the team, MSgt Jackson
placed one doctor on active duty. This is fist time in history of the 337th this has ever been
accomplished, and never slowed down. He went on to find one more doctor also in his first
year on the team. Achievement appeared to come easy, also on the nurse recruiting arena.
MSgt Jackson was given the task to recruit nurses, putting five nurses in the Air Force in three
months time, while goaled for only two. MSgt Jackson was named the 337t" Top Officer
Accessions Recruiter in fiscal year 2000 and 2001.
