Especially in the<lb />churches. I understand that a<lb />considerable number of our black<lb /><lb />protect a baby, and most of all to<lb />provide for that baby.<lb /><lb />Rev. Jackson also stated that<lb />we need to improve ourselves<lb />individually.<lb /><lb />Black men must realize that no<lb />matter how much they may run<lb />away from their problems, their<lb /><lb />make, the cars you drive, and<lb />your ability to prove yourself sex-<lb />ually, bring a new meaning to<lb />your manhood by proving your<lb />ability to provide and protect<lb />your family, maybe our children<lb />will too.<lb /><lb />5. Say yes to hanging in their<lb /><lb />males are in prison. And what are<lb />not in prison, you'll find some of<lb />them in the streets.<lb /><lb />Our black men are suppose to<lb />be their families friends, fathers,<lb />leaders, husbands, and role<lb />models. But it seems as though<lb />© they are more our public enemy<lb />No. 1.<lb /><lb />There Ts an old saying that,<lb />when the going gets tough; the<lb />tough get going. This saying<lb />describes some of our black men<lb />perfectly. ;<lb /><lb />As long as things are going<lb />their way, and smoothly, you can<lb />find them. But let one small thing<lb />go wrong and they Tre ready to<lb />throw in the towel.<lb /><lb />Black men must learn to stop<lb />running away from their respon-<lb />sibilities and start shouldering<lb />some of the blame. Your families<lb />don Tt need for you to run away<lb />from them when things go wrong.<lb />They need for you to run to them,<lb />so that you can change that<lb />wrong to a right together.<lb /><lb />with your families when times<lb />are bad, maybe your young men<lb />will too.<lb /><lb />6. Spend some of that money in<lb />the Black community, maybe our<lb />children will too.<lb /><lb />7. Make yourself go to church<lb />on Sunday, maybe our children<lb />will too.<lb /><lb />Learn to put your faith in God<lb />and He will deliver you. When life<lb />hands lemons, make lemonade.<lb /><lb />Black families don Tt want their<lb />black men to walk in front of<lb />them, nor do they want them to<lb />walk behind them either. They<lb />want you to walk beside them,<lb />and be their friend.<lb /><lb />And remember: The family<lb />that worships together, and prays<lb />together, will beat the odds and<lb />stay together.<lb /><lb />problems are not going to run.<lb />Those problems are going to ex-<lb />ist until they are solved.<lb /><lb />Families need their black men<lb />to laugh with them, cry with<lb />them, worship with them, and to<lb />be supportive of them. You would<lb />be surprised at the difference it<lb />can make in your life, your wife Ts<lb />life, and at the top of the list, your<lb />children Ts life.<lb /><lb />So if you want to make a<lb />change, try this: 1. If your black<lb />men and black women say no to<lb />drugs, maybe our children will<lb />too.<lb /><lb />2. Say no to driving and drink-<lb />ing, maybe our children will too.<lb /><lb />3. JAMISON<lb /><lb />Following extensive research<lb />into what causes AIDS, a local<lb />bio- chemist charges  ~ ~AIDS is a<lb />U.S. government germ warfare<lb />creation deliberately given to<lb />Black Africans and Haitians in<lb />a plan to eradicate them from<lb />the face of the earth. ?<lb /><lb />Jack Felder, a 49-year-old<lb /><lb />- Springfield Gardens, N.Y.,<lb /><lb />biological-chemist with degrees<lb />in biology, chemistry and ap-<lb />plied science in engineering,<lb />charged in a carefully worded<lb />research paper  ~ ~the AIDS virus<lb />is man-made and a_ bioen-<lb />gineered virus created by splic-<lb />ing or mixing together a virus in<lb />sheep called  ~visna virus T and a<lb />retrovirus of cattle known as<lb /> ~bovine levkemia virus, T which<lb />was then introduced into human<lb />beings. ? T<lb /><lb />Felder backs up his assertions<lb />with an impressive array of<lb />documentation accumulated<lb />from various sources around the<lb />world.<lb /><lb /> oThe fact that AIDS was a<lb />U.S. germs warfare creation<lb />was the headline and front page<lb />news of the Sunday Express<lb />newspaper in London, England<lb />on Oct. 26, 1986 and how AIDS<lb />was given to Black Africans and<lb />Haitians was clearly exposed in<lb />The London Times, May 11,<lb />1987," Felder Stated.  ~ ~The next<lb />day every country in the world<lb /><lb />U.S. media was silent on the<lb />issue.  ~ ~For some strange rea-<lb />son, T he rhetorically ques-<lb />tioned,  ~ ~the story was killed. ?<lb /> oReporters like Jon Rap-<lb />poport (a Los Angeles based in-<lb />vestigative reporter and author<lb />of  oAIDS INC., Scandal of the<lb />Century T T), spoke to newspeople<lb />at the Associated Press in<lb />Washington, Boston and New<lb />York; Reuters at the United Na-<lb />tions; and the United Press In-<lb />ternational in New York. No one<lb />he interviewed had ever heard of<lb />the story out of London. With<lb />AIDS, the media have chosen not<lb />to become embroiled in the ques-<lb />tion of causation, ? Rappoport ac-<lb />cuses in his book AIDS INC.<lb /> oMedia get their information<lb />from press people who work at<lb />universities and public health<lb />agencies, and who are fed HIV-<lb />dogma like popcorn. Why? he<lb />asked rhetorically, answering his<lb />own question.  ~Because the of-<lb />ficial line daily newspapers print<lb />comes down from NHI (National<lb />Health Institute) and CDC<lb />(Center for Disease Control).<lb />Writers from dailies don Tt get<lb />paid to do research in bio-medi-<lb />cal libraries, to put together<lb />pieces of information they ac-<lb />tually dig up on their own from<lb /><lb />medical literature or human<lb />sources.  ~ oTherefore, T T he con-<lb /><lb />cluded,  ~ ~federal health agencies<lb />are always going to sound right<lb /><lb />1932, where the government,<lb />under the direction of CDC,<lb />deliberately infected 400<lb />African-American sharecrop-<lb />pers with syphillis and watched<lb />them die, even after penicillin<lb />cure for syphillis became avail-<lb />able in 1940; to what he declares<lb />is the  ~ ~most notorious six-days<lb />in America, ? when U.S. milit:<lb />ary personnel sprayed clouds of<lb />potentially harmful bacteria in<lb />clouds over San Francisco, and<lb />other secret experiments where<lb />bacteria was sprayed in New<lb />York subways, Washington,<lb />D.C. airports and on highways<lb />in Pennsylvania.<lb /><lb /> oBy 1980 certain biowarfare<lb />weapons have been uniquely de-<lb />signed for targeting and killing<lb />of specific ethnic and racial<lb />groups, T Felder charges.<lb /> ~There are few Americans who<lb />are even vaguely aware that the<lb />U.S. Army has a biological and<lb />chemical warfare department,<lb />located at Fort Detrick in<lb />Frederick, MO. Its functions<lb />are to develop chemical and<lb />biological weapons and they al-<lb />ready have a well documented<lb />tradition of experimentation on<lb />human beings. ?<lb /><lb />Jt was in Cold Springs Har-<lb />bor, N.Y., in the early 1960's<lb />that Felder claims biologists<lb />and scientists first gained the<lb /><lb />ability to slice DNA out of cells yp<lb /><lb />and recombined them in other<lb /><lb />Representatives in 1969 dis-<lb />cussed a Pentagon brief to<lb />create through genetic engineer-<lb />ing a virus whose action would<lb />defeat the human body Ts im-<lb />munity, someone therefore was<lb />interested in such a virus then, ? T<lb />he reminded.  oJohn Seale, an<lb />English venereologist, who<lb />claimed the AIDS epidemic was<lb />caused by experiments carried<lb />out in the U.S.A., told reporters<lb />he was totally convinced the<lb />AIDS is man-made, ?           <lb />rf worst for civil rights in this cen-<lb />_ __, tary. The Court, rejecting the<lb />_ _ "_,@0ncept of an equal society and<lb />_Tetreating on gains won over the<lb />Peale ig took a dramatic<lb />away otec the<lb />irights of saleeiities api<lb />rand African-Americans in par-<lb /> ~ticular. We saw it coming; the<lb /> ~Court has been in transition for<lb /> oseveral years.<lb />- The Supreme Court is that<lb />branch of government specially<lb />.Charged with protecting the<lb />rights of minorities. It is sub-<lb />ject. to the will of Congress in<lb />-applying the laws enacted by<lb />Congress. There is no such con-<lb /> ~straint on its authority to apply<lb />cthe Constitution; but when it in-<lb />Sterprets the Constitution, the<lb /> oCourt is supposed to bear in<lb /> omind that document's overall<lb />purpose and meaning, as well as<lb />how earlier Courts applied its<lb />, provisions, This term the court<lb />disregarded both.<lb />  In the area of civil rights, the<lb />Court stood the Constitution on<lb />its head. Instead of serving the<lb />- will of Congress, it consistently<lb />undercut our nation Ts stated<lb /> ~commitment to weed out the<lb /> ~vestiges T of slavery, root and<lb /> obranch. While continuing to use<lb /> othe rhetoric of equality, five of<lb />the nine Justices actually<lb /><lb /> ~  " eee a ee ee<lb />ae " ;<lb /><lb />10 years as a bank teller, and<lb />by white who hate<lb />Blacks. She sued under Section<lb />1981, the civil rights statute<lb />enacted after the Civil War to<lb />prohibit employers from treat-<lb />ing Black workers differently<lb />than whites,<lb /><lb />The Court ruled that the post-<lb />Emancipation law was meant to<lb />bar race discrimination in hiring<lb />but not discrimination on the<lb />job! The Court advised Patter-<lb />son to seek relief under other<lb />statutes, such as Title VII of<lb />the 1964 Civil Rights Act. The<lb />problem is that while Title VII<lb />bars employment discrimina-<lb />tion, it does not cover the same<lb />situations, allow as much time<lb />to bring suit, or allow for as<lb />much damages, as does Section<lb />1981. Clearly, Congress in-<lb />tended the latter to protect<lb />Blacks, not just in getting jobs,<lb />but on the job as well.<lb /><lb />In another case I discussed in<lb />an earlier column, the Court<lb />ironically used the Constitu-<lb />tion Ts bedrock of equal treat-<lb />ment for minorities - the 14th<lb />Amendment - as a weapon<lb />against them. In City of Rich-<lb />mond v. Croson, five out of the<lb /><lb />HANDLING TRAFFIC AND<lb />CRIMINAL OFFENSES<lb /><lb />ROBIN LOYD FORNES<lb />ATTORNEY AT LAW<lb /><lb />123 WEST THIRD STREET<lb />GREENVILLE, NC 27835-8408<lb /><lb />POST OFFICE BOX 8408<lb />TELEPHONE 919-830-5447<lb /><lb />ADS RUN RE an<lb /><lb /> ~<lb /><lb />a gm es<lb /><lb />ee ag ie ae<lb /><lb />{] AZALEA MOBILE HOMES<lb /><lb />x Full Time Service Department *<lb /><lb />ee Be Di OR i a Be Bc<lb /><lb />:<lb />Poy  ~ 6<lb />G jah 3; i on<lb />4] ee<lb />a Wai<lb />grit<lb />1. The<lb />Court also makes the false as-<lb /><lb />patterns and institutional forms<lb />of discrimination are the unin-<lb />tended result of longstanding<lb />social, political and economic<lb />realities - in the Croson case,<lb />for example. When the City of<lb />Richmond, Virginia created a<lb />set-aside program for minority<lb />businesses, it did so in recogni-<lb />tion of the construction in-<lb />dustry Ts longtime and almost<lb />total exclusion of African-A-<lb />mericans and other minorities -<lb />citywide, statewide and nation-<lb />ally. (Fortunately, although the<lb />Court wrongly struck down<lb />Richmond's plan as unconstitu-<lb />tional, it did not rule out the<lb />validity of race- conscious at-<lb />tacks on discrimination al-<lb />together.)<lb /><lb />The Court snatched a vital in-<lb />strument for substanding<lb />employment discrimination<lb />claims from the hands of the na-<lb />tion Ts minority workforce in a<lb />decision involving the Native<lb />American and Filipino cannery<lb />workers, who presented statis-<lb />tics providing that  ~they had<lb />been relegated to all of a com-<lb />pany Ts low-paying positions<lb />while whites got all the high-<lb />paying desk jobs. The Court, in<lb />rejecting their claim and greatly<lb />limiting the use of statistical<lb /><lb />john a. powell<lb />evidence, made it harder to gain<lb />relief under Title VII.<lb /><lb />The Court, issuing one of its<lb />worst opinions in an already ter-<lb />rible term in the Martin v.<lb />Wilks case, egged on whites<lb />who feel  ~ ~discriminated T T<lb />against by court-approved,<lb />voluntary settlements in dis-<lb />crimination cases to legally con-<lb />test such settlements - which<lb />could trigger the unravelling of<lb />many. The case involved the Ci-<lb />ty of Birmingham, Alabama<lb />which, after years of fighting<lb />charges that it had violated Ti-<lb />tle VII in hiring and promoting<lb />firefighters, entered into a cour-<lb />t- approved agreement with two<lb />of its legal adversaries to set up<lb />a remedial hiring and promotion<lb />scheme. A group of white<lb />firefighters, after declining their<lb />right to enter the. litigation<lb />while it was in progress, chal-<lb />lenged the constitutionality of<lb />the settlement after the fact.<lb />Legal precedent dictated that<lb />their suit be barred. The Court<lb />permitted it instead, thus open-<lb />ing the floodgates to similar ac-<lb />tions by whites disgruntled over<lb />efforts to free minorities from<lb />centuries of inequality and<lb />oppression.<lb /><lb />Each of these decision is<lb />harmful. Together, they signal<lb />the dawning of a dark age, in<lb />which blatant disregard for the<lb />rights of African-Americans<lb />and other minorities will be the<lb />rule of thumb. An activist, hos-<lb />tile, conservative majority, that<lb />began to take shape a year and a<lb />half ago with the appointment<lb />of Justice Anthony M. Ken-<lb />nedy, is loose in the land. Mis-<lb />sion: to perpetuate the system<lb />of inequity the Court's<lb />predecessors sought to dis-<lb />mantle,<lb /><lb />in the<lb /><lb />and documentation of specific instances that affirmative action is not prac-<lb />.ticed within the department under the present administration.<lb /><lb />= = There are those within the Police Department who are making a futile at-<lb /><lb />|  otempt fo discredit our charges of discrimination in making<lb /><lb />|  Ments, inconsistencies in promoting<lb />female officers, sexual harassment, and the creation of cosmetic positions<lb />with no bs ge pe duties. These are only a few of the charges that have been<lb />presented to<lb /><lb />~ the appropriate federal government agencies.<lb /><lb />The concerned officers of the Greenville Police Department have proof<lb /><lb />patrol assign-<lb />practices, favoritism toward white<lb />this administration. At a later date, these will be reviewed by<lb /><lb />These practices must not be allowed to continue within the Greenville<lb /><lb /> ~Police Department for the officers currently serving nor for those who will<lb /><lb />come after us. The continued growth of our city demands that the quality of<lb />leadership and the management of personnel and resources within the local<lb />law enforcement agency be superb.<lb /><lb />We are asking for your support of our efforts in correcting certain prac-<lb />tices which will help the Greenville Police Department give better service to<lb />the deserving public.<lb /><lb />Lt. It also stems<lb />from U.S. policy on the export of<lb />effective pesticides. Locusts start<lb />out as relatively harmless<lb />grasshoppers. When conditions<lb />are right they emerge in stagger-<lb />ing numbers, up to 150-million<lb />locusts per square kilometer,<lb />where they can eat 100 tons of<lb />food per day. That Ts enough food<lb />to feed 500 people per year.<lb /><lb />According to Dr. Thomas R.<lb />DeGrogori and Dina F. Solovey in<lb />an article,  ~ ~Out of Africa, ? in the<lb />Summer 1989 issue of Priorities,<lb />a publication of the American<lb />council on Science and Health,<lb />the most effective weapon<lb />against locusts are DDT-type<lb />compounds such as Dieldrin. But<lb />elite environmentalists have<lb />pressed Congress to ban the ex-<lb />port of Dieldrin in the name of<lb />protection the earth and human<lb />life. They want poor Africans to<lb />buy Malathion and Carbaryl<lb />which are much less effective<lb />against pests and 10 times as<lb />expensive.<lb /><lb />It Ts true that DDT-type insec-<lb />ticides are more toxic than their<lb />more modern and costly<lb />substitutes. It Ts also true that we<lb />used DDT in the United States<lb />when we couldn Tt do better, but<lb />the environmentalists would<lb />deny the same access to others<lb />that can Tt do better. T Tin the current Reader Ts<lb />Digest, writes about callous Food<lb />and Drug Adminstration (FDA)<lb />policy. In 1980, Knoll Phar<lb /><lb />maceuticals introduced pro<lb />pafenone, an effective treatment<lb />for a potentially fatal heart<lb />disease, FDA didn Tt approve the<lb />drug until 1988. We can only guess<lb />at the number of people who<lb />needlessly died as a result.<lb /><lb />Dr. George Frederick had pro-<lb />state cancer and _ needed<lb />flutamide which had been wide<lb />ly used in Europe for years anc<lb />found effective and _ safe<lb />However, flutamide had not beer<lb />approved in the United States. T<lb />get flutamide, Dr. Frederick<lb />managed to get FDA Ts permis<lb />sion to  o ~research ? T the drug and<lb />now his prostate cancer is i:<lb />remission.<lb /><lb />About 500,000 Americans die o!<lb />heart attacks each year . Accor<lb />ding to Flick, 75 percent of these<lb />attacks are caused by blood clots<lb />The drug TPA was found effec<lb />tive in dissolving clots in clinica]<lb />tests in 1985, but the FDA didn Tt<lb />get around to approving it unti!<lb />late in 1987, and only then<lb />because of loud protests from the<lb />medical community. One<lb />wonders how many Americans<lb />die as a result of this branch of<lb />government.<lb /><lb />Last month, I wrote about how<lb />Department of Transportation<lb />regulations send thousands of<lb />Americans to their death through<lb />their mandate for Detroit to pro-<lb />duce higher mileage cars. Cars<lb />that get more mileage are made<lb />lighter and less crashworthy. Ac-<lb />cording to several studies, 4,000<lb />Americans will needlesssly lose<lb />their lives and another 20,000 will<lb />be injured annually as a result of<lb />DOT requirements for the 1989<lb />models. I asked Transportation<lb />Secretary Samuel Skinner about<lb />this and his answer showed a<lb />callous disregard for life in favor<lb />of a concern for the environment<lb />and the wishes of Congress.<lb /><lb />Congress and the bureaucrats<lb /><lb />are only too willing to take these<lb /><lb />risks with our lives because the<lb />victims are invisible. Those who<lb />die because of starvation, the<lb />unavailability of useful drugs,<lb />and less crashworthy cars are not<lb />likely to know why they died and<lb />their relatives would never think<lb />of their deaths as resulting from<lb />an act of Congress.<lb /><lb />UE... But they scorned lear-<lb />ning. Few people in Arabia, at the<lb />time of Prophet Muhammad,<lb />could read or write. Neither<lb />Hebrew, nor Christian mis-<lb />sionaries could convert them<lb />from idolatry.<lb /><lb />When God missioned Muham-<lb />mad to be His prophet, the very<lb />first word revealed was<lb /> oREAD! ? ? Muhammad replied<lb />that he could not read. The com-<lb />mand to  oREAD! ? was repeated<lb />again, and again Muhammad<lb />said  oI cannot read, I am not<lb />learned ?. Finally at the third<lb />command to  ~ o oREAD T TMuham-<lb />mad replied READ WHAT?<lb />Thus, the first five verses of the<lb />Quran were revealed,  ~ o ~Read in<lb />the name of thy Lord who creates<lb /> " Creates man from a clot, Read<lb />and thy Lord is most Generous,<lb />Who taught by the pen, Taught<lb />man what he knew not. ? Holy<lb />Quran 96: 1-5.<lb /><lb />A startled and shakened<lb />Muhammad went to his wife and<lb />repeated to her those same<lb />verses word for word. At that<lb />very moment Jesus prophesy<lb />was fulfilled,  o ~HOWBEIT WHEN<lb />HE, THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH, IS<lb />COME, HE WILL GUIDE YOU<lb />INTO ALL TRUTH: FOR HE<lb />SHALL NOT SPEAK OF<lb />HIMSELF; BUT WHAT-<lb />SOEVER HE SHALL HEAR,<lb />THAT SHALL HE SPEAK: AND<lb />HE WILL SHOW YOU THINGS<lb />TO COME. ? John 16:13. Here,<lb />Jesus prophesied that the one<lb />following him would guide us in-<lb />to all truth. Jesus, the seal of pro-<lb />phethood to the Israelites, urged<lb />us to watch for and follow<lb />Muhammad, the seal of pro-<lb />phethood to the world.<lb /><lb />In this message Jesus also in-<lb />structs that we shall find the truth<lb />he brought in the words given to<lb />Muhammad.  ~ ~He shall glorify<lb />me for he shall receive of mine,<lb />and shall show it unto you. All<lb />things that the Father hath are<lb />mine: therefore said I, that he<lb />shall shew it unto you. ?<lb /><lb />With our own eyes we are wat-<lb />ching society unravel. Yet God,<lb />in His infinite wisdom and<lb />knowledge has shown us the way<lb />to stop this destruction, and make<lb />our society, our world whole<lb />again. We choose to turn our<lb />backs on His guidance, and by so<lb />doing we are helping to destroy<lb />ourselves, our children, and<lb />everything good and wonderful in<lb />our world.<lb /><lb />In our society religion has<lb />become a status symbol not a<lb />way of life. We use it for social<lb />climbing or as an emotional<lb />outlet for fears, and disappoint-<lb />ments. We no longer seek true<lb />salvation. When we have<lb />spiritual problems, we attempt to<lb />solve them through emotional<lb />ways. Seldom do we apply<lb />reasoning, logic, or common<lb />sense to the spiritual messages<lb />given to us by those who have liv-<lb />ed before us, or. those who are liv-<lb />ing with us now. In our own way<lb />we are very much like the old<lb />Arab, scorning knowledge. The<lb />Quran says of us,  ~ ~THESE ARE<lb />THEY WHO HAVE BARTERED<lb />GUIDANCE FOR ERROR: BUT<lb />THEIR FRAFFIC IS PRO-<lb />FITLESS, AND THEY HAVE<lb />LOST TRUE DIRECTION ? Ho-<lb />ly Quran 2:16.<lb /><lb />I listen to spiritual gospel<lb />songs, I hear and watch the<lb />preachers speak. And then after-<lb />wards I hear the souls of black<lb />folk crying for relief. All my life<lb />I have heard that cry, as I wat-<lb />ched drugs and disease ravish the<lb />friends of my youth and destroy<lb />our communities. Paying little<lb />heed to our overpowering gospel<lb />music and soul stirring songs. I<lb />wonder why Satan hasn Tt run<lb />away from our preachers hard<lb />and fast lectures. Why haven Tt<lb />the people shouting, fainting, and<lb />speaking in strange tongues kept<lb />him away from their youth, It<lb />seems that the more spiritual<lb />we've become the more settled<lb />and secure Satan has become in<lb />our midst. A wise people would<lb />stop and ask  ~ ~What in the world<lb />is going on? ?  ~What are we do-<lb />ing wrong? T<lb /><lb />Since we've been in this coun-<lb />try, we accepted the ill of goods<lb />just as it was given to us . It<lb />helped for a while but when the<lb />going really got rough it deserted<lb /><lb /> ~us, Many of our foreparents came<lb /><lb />here with truth in their hearts.<lb />And a strong desire to keep the<lb />fire of truth alive in the souls of<lb />their children. That truth still<lb />lives, And is ours for the asking.<lb /><lb />If you truly loved Jesus, you<lb />would love Muhammad, for the<lb />teachings of Prophet Jesus and<lb />Prophet Muhammad (PBUT)<lb />come together to bridge a<lb /><lb />a spiritual gap. If the Arabs<lb />had denied Muhammad, they<lb />would have denied their bir-<lb />thright. For the God of Abraham<lb />was theirs by descendancy. And<lb />if they had persisted in denial<lb />they would have been left in<lb />idolatry and the world would<lb />have been denied a beautiful gift.<lb />And so my people it is the same<lb />with us.<lb /><lb />Many of our slave forefathers<lb />came here with a desire to keep<lb />Islam alive in the hearts of their<lb />children. Slavery denied them<lb />that chance. Now we their<lb />children Ts are denying them that<lb />chance for a few pieces of silver.<lb />Because it is more acceptable to<lb />mimick this society than to try to<lb />understand our own. Brothers<lb />and Sisters, we are walking with<lb />our heads in the wrong direction.<lb />We can Tt see where we Tre going,<lb />and we Tre quickly forgetting<lb />where we caqme from. If you<lb />turn your back on Islam, know<lb />that you are turning your back on<lb />your birthright. You are denying<lb />yourself what is yours, and you<lb />are denying your gift to this<lb />society. For Islam is our gift. God<lb />did not bring us here empty hand-<lb /><lb /> ~ed.
