This year�?Ts program promises to be<lb />something special, with the spotlight on The Stephen Foster Story and My Old<lb />Kentucky Home State Park.<lb /><lb />When Scott Parker, our director, came back from a visit to Bardstown in June,<lb />he described the Rotunda in glowing terms and said: "Wouldn�?Tt it be wonderful if<lb />we could have a conference session outdoors in the park!"<lb /><lb />Now that those plans are taking shape, I�?Tm writing to let you know how much we<lb />appreciate your generosity in making your facility available to us.<lb /><lb />I know you�?Tve been working with Carlene on the arrangements and she may have<lb />given you a copy of the preliminary schedule. The conference brochures with<lb />information on the full schedule of events for the weekend will be available in<lb />late August.         <p>We°ve made arrangements to move to the Civic Center in case of rain. Kurtz<lb />Restaurant is catering the lunch and will provide serving tables.
