Dear Ms. Heaton:
We are really looking forward to coming to Bardstown for the 1991 National
Outdoor Drama Conference, October 24-27. This year�?Ts program promises to be
something special, with the spotlight on The Stephen Foster Story and My Old
Kentucky Home State Park.
When Scott Parker, our director, came back from a visit to Bardstown in June,
he described the Rotunda in glowing terms and said: "Wouldn�?Tt it be wonderful if
we could have a conference session outdoors in the park!"
Now that those plans are taking shape, I�?Tm writing to let you know how much we
appreciate your generosity in making your facility available to us.
I know you�?Tve been working with Carlene on the arrangements and she may have
given you a copy of the preliminary schedule. The conference brochures with
information on the full schedule of events for the weekend will be available in
late August. But in the meantime, here is the schedule for Friday, October 25,
in case you havent seen it yet.

We°ve made arrangements to move to the Civic Center in case of rain. Kurtz
Restaurant is catering the lunch and will provide serving tables. We anticipate
having about 65 people on the tour of Federal Hill, and that same number at the
Rotunda for lunch and the afternoon sessions.
