Thehighlight of the conference will be the opportunity to see first-hand theoperations of The Stephen Foster Story, long considered one of the nation??Tspremiere outdoor dramas.Many of the participants attending the conference will be representing dramaslocated on state park property. Theirs is a unique relationship and I know theywill be pleased to meet you and to learn about the close connection yourdepartment has with the three Kentucky outdoor dramas also located in stateparks. In fact, we have taken the liberty to refer to your remarks as "The StatePark/Outdoor Drama Connection."We are also very fortunate to have with us at the dinner Nancy Johnson Barker andBlake Barker, who will perform a wonderful selection of traditional Appalachianfolksongs immediately following your remarks.
