        <p>THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA<lb />AT<lb />CHAPEL HILL<lb /><lb />August 9 1990 The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill<lb />? <lb />CB# 3240, NCNB Plaza<lb />Chapel Hill. N.C. 27599-3240<lb /><lb />Ms. Tedi Vaughn<lb />General Manager<lb /><lb />THE JENNY WILEY STORY<lb />Box 22<lb /><lb />Prestonsburg, KY 41653<lb /><lb />Dear Tedi:<lb /><lb />This is to officially invite you to serve as a panel member<lb />on the program of the 28th Annual Managers, Directors and<lb />Promoters Conference of the Institute of Outdoor Drama. The<lb />Conference is scheduled for October 5, 6, and 7, 1990 and<lb />will be held in Cherokee, NC, home of the outdoor drama UNTO<lb />THESE HILLS.<lb /><lb />The panel is tentatively titled: "Seasonal and Year-Round<lb />Employee Benefits" and is scheduled for Sunday, October 7,<lb /><lb />from 9:00am until 10:30am. As you know, the panel moderator<lb />will be Marion Waggoner, producer and artistic director of<lb />TECUMSEH. He will be in touch with you regarding ideas for<lb />organization and preparation of the panel.<lb /><lb />There are a number of employee benefits which can be explored<lb />by this panel, but I think by far the most topical is that of<lb />health insurance. Others that the panel might consider<lb />include retirement, life insurance, vacation, sick leave,<lb />housing and longevity.<lb /><lb />The health insurance thing is such a big problem for many of<lb />the companies, I am hopeful that the panel will be able to<lb />offer solid, practical suggestions which will be of real use<lb />to the company reps. Everyone knows there is a problem. The<lb />trick is: What?os the solution... or combination of<lb />solutions? That?os what we need to hear.<lb /><lb />I°m delighted that you are able to serve on this very<lb />important panel. Marion will be contacting you, but if you<lb />have questions in the meantime, please give me a call.<lb /><lb />~~<lb /><lb /></p>
        <pb facs="00056196_0002" />
        <p>The registration fee for the Conference is $95 per person.<lb />You will receive a brochure containing pre-registration and<lb />hotel reservation forms in early September.<lb /><lb />Thanks again, Tedi.<lb /><lb />Sincerely<lb /><lb />Scott J. Parker<lb />Director<lb /><lb /></p>
