This is to officially invite you to serve as a panel member
on the program of the 28th Annual Managers, Directors and
Promoters Conference of the Institute of Outdoor Drama. The
Conference is scheduled for October 5, 6, and 7, 1990 and
will be held in Cherokee, NC, home of the outdoor drama UNTO
THESE HILLS.
The panel is tentatively titled: "Seasonal and Year-Round
Employee Benefits" and is scheduled for Sunday, October 7,
from 9:00am until 10:30am. As you know, the panel moderator
will be Marion Waggoner, producer and artistic director of
TECUMSEH. He will be in touch with you regarding ideas for
organization and preparation of the panel.
There are a number of employee benefits which can be explored
by this panel, but I think by far the most topical is that of
health insurance. Others that the panel might consider
include retirement, life insurance, vacation, sick leave,
housing and longevity.
The health insurance thing is such a big problem for many of
the companies, I am hopeful that the panel will be able to
offer solid, practical suggestions which will be of real use
to the company reps. Everyone knows there is a problem. The
trick is: What�?os the solution... or combination of
solutions? That�?os what we need to hear.
I°m delighted that you are able to serve on this very
important panel. Marion will be contacting you, but if you
have questions in the meantime, please give me a call.

The registration fee for the Conference is $95 per person.
